Friday in Faribault

Today, we allowed ourselves to sleep in pretty late. Then, brunch at the restaurant directly below where Michele stayed when she came here for the interview.

Fairbault actually has quite the quintessential little Main Street, with lots of historic architecture un-altered by intervening periods of prosperity. It also has a good spot for espresso, just next to the “cheese cave.”

I had gone earlier to get the appropriate hardware for the remaining little installations (& to assess the quality of the local espresso).

So come after breakfast we went out to the river bend nature center to install a bird out there.

Is directly over the reception desk and on axis with the entrance.

Next we installed a gull, back at the campus, in one of their two National Register Historic Buildings.
